Diane Trevett - Calla Studio Fine Art

I often paint an ongoing series of a specific subject and this one is part of a Variation on a Tulip series. My approach here is to emphasize the basic form and movement of a Tulip flower, and to use expressive brush work and rich color.

This is painting on an archival cradled wood panel with a 2-inch depth. The sides are painted in a medium gray. I used removable Gamvar varnish.
